Can anyone explain what function the setting "Glass on in-game windows" in the Video menu has?

It enables a semi-transparent blurred effect on the in-game popup windows (like Track Monitor/F4), allowing you to kind of see behind them. It is similar to the glass effect in the Windows Aero theme in Windows Vista and 7, hence the name.

Thank you so much for your quick reply. I had the same in MSTS where you could get an addon called Semitransparent Driveraids.

I found that the glass on/semi-transparent was still much too opaque for me.
I wanted a slider to make it less or more transparent depending on the background.
Having said that, with the video performance of OR, having a glass on option is just one super item, thanks guys.
