Interactive (MSTS) lineside diesel refueling tank, on dirty concrete plinth.
Tank condition is weathered and work-worn.
Recommended as a refueling asset for smaller diesel locomotives.
Version 1.0.

Low polys 1,172, single 1000m LOD. No animation. No seasonal texture.

Also for Open Rails, but at this stage only suitable for eye-candy, because refueling does not
yet work in that sim. (Oct '13)

Detail has been kept to the minimum, so there's no visible refueling hose, etc.

The diesel oil refueling facility is designed for line-side placement, so there's a small 'block' to help correctly align the (offset) model to the chosen track. The block is in effect the 'center-point' of the model, an arrangement required by the foibles of MSTS interactives placement. The offset distance (center of block to longitudinal center of the tank base) is 3.5M, suitable for NG or SG track clearance.

The setting up of an interactive refueling asset requires some prior experience using the MSTS route editor.

ENJOY!

As I stated in the readme text, I could not test this in either MSTS or OR, but there's no discernable reason why it should not work okay in MSTS if set up correctly. However, Open Rails doesn't have any active refueling facilities at this stage.

I'd appreciate any feedback good, or bad, thank you.

LOCOOIL "Moving Trains" is my own invention, so regard it as copyright 'safe'.

These refueling facilities were setup on a spur, or loop, track.

Cheers Bazza
