Hi all,

On my favorite route some signals remain dark. In MSTS there is no problem.

On time-consuming tests I found, that the signals light appears when the z-coodinate (before-behind the signal shape) of the signal light is changed:

SigCfg.dat:

...

SignalType ( "!!2002"

SignalFnType ( NORMAL )

SignalLightTex ( "ltex0" )

SigFlashDuration ( 0.5 0.5 )

SignalLights ( 6

SignalLight ( 0 "Red Light"

Position ( 0.15 0.25 0.03 ) original: not visible ? inside the shape

Position ( 0.15 0.25 0.35 ) now: light visible

Radius ( 0.6 )

)

...

Has anyone the same problem? Is there another interpretation from OR of the coordinates in the s-Files?

Thank You!
Klaus

I have a similar Problem on some of Bob Wirth´s routes, but it´s not so obvious: Some of the siglights do Flash very quickly even when they shouldn´t do so. Probably a sorting Problem as discussed in the thread "Texture Atlas question" or the other, corresponding one. Now, that I know this could be the Problem, I´ll try to sort it out. Will Report back, but first I´ll have to identifiy which entry in the sigcfg.dat file corresponds to the Signal in-game...

Cheers, Markus

I have tested with my Signals.
If the lights are exactly on the surface of the signal I have lights in OR and in MSTS.
If the Lights are -0.01 (1 cm) inside of the Signal I have lights in MSTS, but NOW lights about a distance nearer then 20m from the signal.
