I said I'd start posting my presentation of this marvelous route. And here's the start. Since there's quite some choices that I can make the first trip here is with me starting in Pelican Island heading north with the end part at Sea View Space Agency's island.
First let me thanks plenty for Bill Burnett and friend for creating such a wonderful route in the first place. It's great that it has undergone updates to this version 5.
But before I go on to show where I have gone. Let me show the entire map of the area. These are islands so they're marked each with their own names as shown below:
Now this set has me started with already close to 300 shots. And I'm no not quite done with it yet. This is just for starters. So we start out at Pelican Island and head to Flat Top Island and so on.
That below there is the Port Pelican Island.
Up ahead is Mystery Island
Up ahead, as the sign says, Sunken Island.
Tunnel ahead leads to Sunken Island and it's a mighty long downhill tunnel as we'll see soon.
Check out the ACME sign - It says "Don't worry...even the Coyote Orders from ACME, Co." LOL
Sea View 5 warning hundreds of shots on this one.

More of Sunken Island
This giant Mil helicopter was helping move a heavy earth mover at the rim of Sunken Island.
I like this scrolling sign. You'll see the three ads posted on it and It's just one billboard.
Leaving Sunken Island now. That's the island on the far right of the shot.
Up ahead Fisherman's Bridge.

Continuing...
The start to an Island area called "The Vault". And you'd soon see why it's called that.
Saw this large rodent looking thing. Not sure what it is though.
I love the gigantic ceiling fans.
As seen from one of the giant tower cranes.
Looks like we're about to leave so they decontaminate us.
Oooh, a crane that turned over? That must have hurt.
Finally some daylight seen ahead.
That ahead is the last section of "The Vault"
And behind is where the cavernous Vault is.
The edge of the island for "The Vault".
So now onto another island.

I'm not quite done yet. That's barely the beginning. I told you I managed to snap over 200 shots for this first section. I'm not even finished yet with the first trip. There's plenty more to show.
Up ahead Volcano Island.
This particular shot don't do it justice, since what is actually seen here is that bird with the wings open is actually flying around in circles around and over that swan that's near the small pond.
That huge volcano sure looks scary. And you'll see some of the damage done by it.
Notice the buildings and structures tilted from the rattlings of the volcano.
Notice the tilted building behind.
A MOW crew ahead. Fixing stuff the Volcano messed I would think.
That's quite a lot of nice cars there.

This sign gave me a laugh since there is a real store named "Woolworths" here in the U.S.
What exactly are these two reading? LOL
This is like a drop for a roller coaster though not as steep but it is fairly steep for a railroad. The grade is 5.2% and in terms of railroads that's steep.
That's the building we came from.

this is an awesome route: I keep looking at your shots and thinking, "what, I don't remember that?!" which means I'm gonna have to take another trip over the line here soon, I feel!

I could gaze on those pics you already poste the whole evening, and 200 more! Incredible *speechless*
How silly must I have been? "All non-fictional" :jawdrop2: ;) Typical Austrian, I am... (although I don´t make it to drink those 180 Liters of beer a single male Austrian consumes in a whole year statistically)
Cheers (I dont mean :D :) ), Keep runnin, I can´t wait for my Internet Connection to get alotted new GB next week,
Markus

Great shots of my second home, Ed. And hopefully, if all goes well and I don't die beforehand, a revised Seaview set will grace the rails. :sign_rockon:
I have to disappoint you that #83 will probably not be a streamliner since many years have passed and I realized the engine type would not fit the bill. :lol2: But perhaps I can make something a little more speedy to take the streamliner role.... perhaps. :D
Keep em comin! :pardon:
