Thank you very much, take care of the problem, the resolution cab was small, so the numbers were very large. :sweatingbullets:

OpenRails x1680, settings for diesel smoke.

DieselSmokeEffectInitialMagnitude (10)
DieselSmokeEffectMaxMagnitude (10)
DieselSmokeEffectInitialSmokeRate (0)
DieselSmokeEffectMaxSmokeRate (15)

Parameter: DieselSmokeEffectInitialSmokeRate (0)
At idle should not be smoke, but it is. This is a bug or so conceived?

Does this also concern the sometimes patchy-appearing diesel smoke on locos that would Show Show it normal in MSTS but like in the Video in ORTS?

Cheers, Markus

In order not to have these spots, add smoke to the parameters and make the stream of smoke on broader.
options:

(
DieselSpecialEffects
(
Exhaust1
(
0 5.25 -0.51
0 0.5 0
0.25

0.25 is responsible for setting the thickness of the smoke plume.

You mean, at which rate the singel smoke patches will appear? Seems a bit controversial to me, as the value for the loco shown is already at 0.7 (DieselSmokeInitialRate (0.7)

Or do you mean another line?

Cheers, and thanks so far, Markus

DieselSmokeEffectInitialSmokeRate parameter is responsible for the amount of smoke at idle, it should be 0
My usual setup for smoke OR (looks more natural):

DieselSmokeEffectInitialMagnitude (10)
DieselSmokeEffectMaxMagnitude (10)
DieselSmokeEffectInitialSmokeRate (0)
DieselSmokeEffectMaxSmokeRate (15)

I will try that and see what Comes out. This loco has already caused more than one or two small bugs...

Cheers, and :oldstry: again, Markus

Edit: Yeah, Looks a lot better now. Thanks again for helping me to finally sort this out :rotfl:
