I have asked this question before and posted screen shots of the problem without any responses so I'll try again.
I have loaded 4 different routes GN Hi-line, RMD_East, mlwrmd4 and CNW today to recheck with the new v0.9 OR and nothing has changed. At every switch with ground level switch stands (not signals) when the switch is aligned for straight through direction the switch stand shows a red signal or indicator board. With the switch set to diverge the indication is a green ball or indicator board. This is backwards from what should show. MSTS indication on the same routes and locations are all correct (opposite of what OR show).
Anybody else notice this anomaly? OR has been this way for as long as I can remember now.

Yes, the custom switch stands are bass-akwards in OR. I've noticed it also but when you get there and throw it, it straightens itself out.

We know they're backwards, and I believe there's an open bug about it (if there isn't please file one!), but the behaviour in MSTS is tricky to decipher (it isn't animating the switch stands in a completely expected way).

The ones I have on my routes are ok. I use scalerail, so maybe it is an issue with the switchstands.

The issue is specific to certain switchstands, yes. What they're doing is they have animations which run from 'unusual' frames, e.g. the animation runs from frame 2 to frame 3. Normal signal animations (which include switchstands) run from frame 0 to frame 1.

Thanks for confirming that the switch stands do operate in reverse in OR. If it were just one or two routes it would have made me think it was route specific but so far every route I have checked is backward. I'm sure the OR team will eventually work this anomaly out.
Rick,
haven't noticed any "straightening out" at all just incorrect indication for the position of the points all the time.

I hate to be the one to bump an old thread but has anything been done to correct this? Or is there a way to correct this that I'm not aware of?

Yes, for all my testing, the stands seem to work as they should, now.

I've been running the new MILW Idaho Division or OR X2127 and the switch stands appear to all be set against the point positions.
Is this an issue with 2127?

I am not aware of any fixes being made for the broken switch stands, so I would expect any that used to be broken to continue to be broken. Many other switch stands work, though.
