Good evening,

I have finally decided to move completely (or as close to that as possible) into OR. I am using the experimental release X1600 without problems and at surprisingly high FPS values. My congratulations to the entire OR team.

I have been running on Austin Yoder's Horseshoe Curve route without problems our the stuttering effect that I am used to with MSTS.

The SLI cabviews appear just fine. However, in those cases where the engine uses one of Borislav Miletic's excellent ES44 (version 2) cabs, things look a bit off. I am attaching an example. Several of the meter readouts on the right are too large and a bit off-center. Also, it seems that the gauge is indicating that I am in dynamic braking mode (yellow bar), which is not the case.

By the way, the cabview works fine in MSTS.

Thanks very any help on this.

Regards,

Gary

Sounds like a bug (or several, I believe some corrective work has been going into the size and position of digital displays).

Thanks for airing the problems here first. Would you mind posting two separate bug reports on our Bug Tracker - one for the digits and one for the dynamic braking mode? Please attach the CVF file too. That will make sure you get a response and the problem isn't overlooked.

Maybe I can add to the problem with the dynamics what I actually have already written in another post: Also, when switching from dynamics back to power mode, the dynamics sounds just keep playing. Interesting is, that although in power mode, I get different sounds for the dynamics with different notvhes on the throttle.

Maybe the other topic has just been overlooked...

Yours, Markus

PS: I had this problems on both combined and non-combined controls locos, so the issue can´t be about something wrong with that lever (which was my first guess)

EDIT: Nope, I haveb´t posted this issue anywhere else, although I thought I had done so - must have gbeen swallowed by my internet connection that often brakes down - myabe just in the "right" moment? :oldstry:

Markus, about this sound issue I have asked in the other topic to file a bug report at launchpad indicating the locomotive with a download link you have problems with. I will not be able to track back the problem just by speaking in generals.

Then I´ll have to apologize, I must have..

1.) Now overlooked that when searching for it... :oldstry:

2.) Overlooked your replies... :sign_sorry: again.

Had been quite a distressing weekend and week before it, was nearly going nuts over all the stuff I had to take care of. I will of course report it as soon as possible.

Thanks for the quick reponses. I have just submitted two bug reports, one concerning the digits and the second describing the issue with the apparent dynamic brake indicator.
