I am currently spending a load of time on the A&O , and it is coming back to me what sets this route apart from so many others.

Following on directly from the StL&NA, where the vignettes really set the atmosphere of the route, (along with the wholly believable cast of characters, including Ole Coonskin himself) the A&O brought that bang up to the late 20th Century (if not quite to date) with the extension to Urbanette, the broiler houses and the gravel & rock extraction.

Masterly tracklaying and scene setting has made this route a classic that remains a pleasure to run. What is so intriguing is that it goes so well with just about any railroad and livery...but you've got to love the A&M Alcos, especially with Gaetan's new sound pack

It truly is a route apart from most, it and it's predecessor. I'm really impressed with what you call terrtex tweaking, but in reality is more than that. This is truly inspiring and makes me feel like resuming some tweaking myself. As is per usual for you, Rod, fantastic screenshots.

Some changes have been made to the objects placed to tie in with the new Terrtex (all models/objects already on the route btw.)
