I'm not sure how far back your version you are using there goes, but there's a version 0.8.0.1251 that is the current public release. And I haven't seen that happen in there.

1517 is a later experimental release after the stable release 0.8.1251. The release would look like 0.8.1517 if it were released as a stable release number. So you would not see the problem as it was introduced after many revisions later.

How is it his display of the version numbers don't show the whole version like the way it did with mine? Is that only because it's an experimental? Look at the numbers showing in each of our photos posted.

Your version is as old as the hills. Try a later version, Ed. We're like at 1536 or something, now. :oldstry:

I'm just going with what's currently a public release on the Open Rails website. I'm not about to embark on those experimental releases. And as of now that version of mine is the current stable release per the website.

It might be the current stable release, but it is older than the hills. The later experimentals have added a proper signalling system, distant mountains and if you want to turn it on as well, superelevation.

Not only that, you can install a newer version to a different folder, and go back to the 0.8 should you so wish. Nothing ventured = nothing gained.

I'm currently using X1525 and with this version the Location Labels are indeed showing in black as Eldorado shows in his screen shot. This is the first version that this has occurred for me.

I'm in no rush. I'll wait for the team's next stable release. Much better than having a more buggy one.

This should be fixed in X.1544.
