Lighting Question (3D Trains FT A Unit) Rate Topic: -----

Hi gang.

New to OR. Learning my way around on it.

I'm having a lighting problem with all my 3DTrains FT A units..... The mars light works, (upper headlight) but the lower headlight will not come on when "H" is pressed.

I just dont know a thing about headlights or lighting. Working with the engine file might fix the problem, but how would I go about it??

Now I am _sure_ this has been asked before although if on Elvas Tower I do not know, and I am not sure even if OR support multiple headlights but any way...

Basicly in MSTS lights are specfied by a 3D position relative to machines shape file, direction of light intensity and colour of light, Multiple states can be specfied to allow bright and dim as in headlights. have a search on the net on MSTS lighting should bring up some docs. Also have a look at..... (particularly the 2nd one)

Now just in case someone has recently just got in from the planet mars or somewhere like that the tutorial section of steam4me has some of the __BEST__information on MSTS on the planet.

Hi Casey,

Try this: start the act and save it. When you resume it see if the light will come on. This trick has worked for me.
