Yeah ridiculous. These wheel sets alone have half the polys my entire shay model does. I guess the 40 face tires must have sent the polys out the roof. I hate having those flat sided wheels though. I think I understand. I'm just wondering why I didn't have this issue with the wheels on my shays.I'll start over again and see what sends the polys out.

28 to 32 for wheels looks pretty good, IMO. It'll depend on my spoke arrangement, though.
