Swapping between trains Rate Topic: -----

Hello everyone.

I'm testing a little bit the last Experimental Release (1342) and when I drive an EMU/DMU and I want to swap between cabs I can't move the reverser, alerter or lights so the train is not moving anymore. In other OR releases you can do that and resume driving without problems. Is that a bug or I'm doing anything in the wrong way?

Thanks a lot

Hello!

Samething for me since experimental release X-1335. If I change the cab with Crtl+E it's impossible to change the Direction and the Throttle. Worse, if you unclouple the locomotive from the train, you're not able to do anathing after. You can't return to your first train and you have to quit OR. Idem with exp. release X-1342. In previous releases everything work fine if you want to change cab and locomotive.

Hope it will be correct soon!

A couple of bugs related to the operation of Ctrl-E have just been reported on the Bug Tracker.

I'll be looking into them and will report back here.

I think I've fixed this in v1345.

Would you be able to test it for me, please, and post your findings here

Thanks.

Hi! Chris

Thank you for your attention and your quick reply. :cool3:

How can I test it? Only the experimental version X-1342 is available and your corrections in X-1345 will be available only on the next saterday, included in the future X-release.

I would be happy, if I can help you.

Keep up your great work.

Cheer!

Hello all and specially cjakeman

I've just test the last OR X-version, the 1351 and now swapping between cabs on EMUs and DMUs is fixed, now runs smooth.

Thanks a lot OR is getting better and better.

Hi there everybody.

Just let everyone know that there is still a problem when reversing cabs. That is if I'm going forward and then I wanna go backwards from the back cab, I'll have to put the reverser on "reverse" in the back cab to go forwads, plus lights won't work properly as they don't light the new way I'm facing at.

I've also got a question. If I couple with another player because for example he is dispatching and I have his/her permission to move that train to a siding for example, is there any way to get into "his" cab and control the train so when I uncouple I can control his loco and leave mine behind?

Cheers
