I got "Warning: Disassembled texture invalid for...." today and I havn't seen that one before. It's a texture used in the cab view. I glanced at the texture in question at it appears to be normal. Any suggestion as to what I should be looking for in order to fix this texture?

I've had this same error come up and wondered what was the cause? Would be interesting to find out as none of the textures cited had any apparent problems. Thank you.

I believe it means that the cab control texture was split in to 0 frames - it occurs when the code wants to access one of the frames and there are none available.

I'd like to see if we can improve the diagnostics here, so is there occurring with a freeware locomotive?

And, Dave, assuming you can find a freeware locomotive that displays this problem, would you post the details on the new Bug Tracker at launchpad.net/or ?

Thanks.

The locomotive is freeware and can be downloaded from trainsim.com. Search in steam locomotives for the string "Milwaukee" and look for this:

Chris, I didn't use the bug tracker because it was a Warning message. I assume those are not OR problems and so I was asking for a bit more info so I could solve the problem.

Fair enough. Don't want to move to the Bug Tracker too soon or we lose the input from the community (e.g. lineman's post). Let's see how this one turns out.
