Hi Gang:
Hopefully this can be corrected as I really enjoy this route.

Activity works in MSTS not Open Rails.

Computer: Intel® Core™ i7 CPU 860@2.80GHZ w/Turbo Boost
RAM 16GB, 64 Bit Windows 7 Ultimate
Video NVIDIA GeForce GTX 470 1GB

Log File Attached

OP X.X.X. 1297

Feather River Route
Activity 3DT-HCP-020-Oroville to Portola Part 1

MSTS :
After activity starts at 08:04 pac train north passes as scheduled. Signals on Main and Drill Track are red.
About 08:08:30 south Freight passes. Signals on Main and Drill Track are red.
Permission to move to red on drill track given and permission to proceed when signal turns green.
08:12:20 signal on drill track turns green.
Activity continues with no problem

Open Rails:
After activity starts at 08:04 pac train north passes as scheduled. Signals on Main and Drill Track are red.
At 08:06 Drill track signal turns yellow. This signal should never turn yellow as south freight is due . Apparently the south freight AI does not run for some reason.
No south freight at 08:08:30.

Any ideas/help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance
John

I suspect its to do with the reversing point in front of the player train.

Cheers

Where is this reversing point.
You start out by backing up(Maybe 50ft) to couple to a consist then going forward to the signal on the drill track which is suppose to be red.

You will go over it just before you get to the switch ahead.

What is the purpose of a reversing point before that switch, since there are no instructions to reverse and I do see a reversing point on track monitor. When playing the MSTS version the activity works correctly. Also in MSTS the signal never goes yellow. In the OR version it goes to yellow.

The instructions tell you to move to the red signal on the drill track and wait for a green (Not a yellow). In OR the signal never goes Green.

Another point the south freight AI never comes by.

Generally a reverse point before the signal (that you didn't actually reverse on) was to get around an issue with MSTS where an AI train would never cross the path of a player train.

To call the AI train.

I suspect that OR has not implemented the code for reversing points yet.

Thank you. I will wait.
Thanks to the OR team for the work they have done so far.
