I'm having some issues with specific locos with side rod animations functioning, but only one or none of the wheel rotations actually working. Is this a known issue? If so, is this a problem solvable with a config file or something similar, or would this be in the model/game engine?

Hi Robbie, can you please provide more details of the problem loco/s? Thanks.

Cheers Bazza

Via trainsim, both UP 844 and SP 4449 by Mike(Michael) Knott. The 844's back drive axle animates properly, but the first three axles don't. The 4449 has no functional axles.

Happens on both my laptop and desktop, with varying AMD/ATi video drivers, in Win7 x64.

I have an entirely different animation problem. This has to do with semaphore signal heads. On several routes that have semaphore signals, under version 0.7 the animation worked, but under V 0.8 on the same routes it does not when the train passes. Is this a known problem or is it a feature that has been temporarily turned off while the signal system is being developed?

I believe they do animate correctly, but the updated signalling code is "slower" to notice you've passed the signal. I've seen signals of all types take a while to "notice" you've gone past them.
