A whole lot of what is being displayed is Open Rails taking note of oddities that were allowed by MSTS but sometimes its not just a f.y.i. but something more. In this example:

Quote

Warning: Some of this STF file was not parsed. in C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Games\Train Simulator\trains\trainset\EB_EUROSTAR\eb_static.wag:line 69

OR has writee whatever the issue is (orange) and the data that prompted the message (red). The words "not parsed" is programmers-speak for "didn't know what to do with this" and whatever "this" is will be found on line 69 of that .wag file. At this momnet it's a warning ... a f.y.i only

But a mommnet later OR writes this line

Quote

Error: MSTS.STFException: ( Not Found - instead found 0 in C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Games\Train Simulator\trains\trainset\EB_PHCW_37800\EBPH_CW_37800.eng:line 430

and calls it an error -- as in whatever happened is going to cause something not to work properly, specifically that OR was given a zero when it was looking for something quite different (orange). I don't know what it was looking for but if you look at line 430 (or just above) in that .eng file (red) you might be able to figure it out.

Hope this helps.

p.s. all those lines that begin with "at...." are automatically generated and represent the program path from the individual function where the error occurred error all the way back to the highest level parent, the .exe file. If you are currious, the first few lines may tell you something more about what happened. For instance, the examples I used, the first "at..." after the ERROR line says "STFReader.MustMatch(String target)". Strings are usually letters but OR found a zero. That may help you figure out what happened. The rest of the "at..." lines are really useful only to the programmers.
