I always like to see the foreign (to me) GE locomotives. They look very similar to the ALCO MRS-1 locomotives, which are near and dear to my heart.
Thanks for sharing!

Blimey! Between August1929 stealing my heart away with his work on the Mactier route, this one is looking down right impressive too! This is south west Aussieland I take it? Very nice! ;)

Hi guys and thanks for the comments. The locos are West Aussie available at Trainsim (rapwal13.zip and rapwal14.zip14). The tanks and hoppers are Mark Giltz also from TS.
The route is Cannes-Grasse 2006 (an absolute cracker) and I'm glad Noisemaker that you asked if it was SW Aus as that is exactly the kind of setting I was aiming for, kinda like around Fremantle, Albany or maybe even Geraldton up north. The only variation I made was to remove the overhead gantrys otherwise its as it comes outta the box!
There are lots of great Aussie routes but none that I know of (I know there is the BHP iron ore route at Port Hedland) in South West WA that emulate the freight runnings close to the Indian Ocean. Actually quite a few of the loco drivers I worked with here in Queensland have headed to BHP at Port Hedland. BHP has announced, they intend, in the next few years to be introducing remote controlled trains.
I'll get some traffic loaded and post some more after I take a dip in the pool (it's getting warm here in Cairns!).

Nothing against California, it's a great state from north to south. Was hoping my music would've 'set me up' there at some point. But on a few visits, don't know if I'd ever be fully 'comfortable' there?
From what I'm seeing on this route - it looks 'comfortable' to me. Dense, but sparse. Green, not dry - and most importantly, earthquake free! (or is there a major fault line off the coast there?) Just watched a bit of good ol' Mad Max on TV last night too. So I'm getting a good dose of 'down under' it seems. ;)
