Here's extra 41 East with a string of empty "Flour, Sugar and Bean Loading Only" boxcars headed out to Dolores, the Pinto Bean Capital of the World, for fresh loads.
We first catch the train crossing bridge 160A, the Lightner Creek Trestle, just out of Durango, then rolling along in Wildcat Canyon approaching Porter.

Now we are "Decorating," riding the tops, coming into Cima. Then we see variety of shots capturing the detail of these wonderful cars from Tom Werb. I have taken the liberty of renumbering and repainting the cars to represent some of the variety of the prototype and Tom's later offerings will do the same with more car numbers and various types of weathering and lettering.

Thanks Paul! But the real painting credit goes to Tom and Howard Saunders who did the marvelous 2048 x 2048 lettering job. Even the smallest reporting marks are crystal clear. Just fantastic work. All I did was change the shading with Gama correction to make their nicely faded paint job either more faded or make it brighter as though freshly done. Then I blanked out some of the lettering on the cars with just a number and repacked data, a common scheme during the late '30s when paint and labor were scarce! I can make 'em look good but I had a marvelous product to start with! :o
