Here is a view from a route that was destroyed about a year ago. I am planning to re-build it this coming year:

Tim, the PE637 arrived here OK, although it looks out of place among the pine trees.

Erik, these are the Old models of the Sellwood Barns I made over a year ago. I want to make all new ones from the ground up, using brick textures from photos that I took in July, and those of cal Rasmussen's. These current ones are out of proportion and just plain wrong, being that i made them from memory and no dimensions. I really wish i had the time to take measurements before they destroyed them, altho, it is hoped they will preserve the east facade as a historical "marker".

Hey, great! Yah, the Hollywood does look like a city-slicker in "Dog Patch". :p

I like what you did with the brick walkways to "cobble" the yards, it looks good, Chuck! I can't wait to get the next copy of WVRy!

Tim

For some reason, the PE 637 above displays real weird on my computer, the bottom half is all green blocks.

Speaking of weird, I tested the 637 in the snow today, and looked at the passenger view. Should make a good track inspection vehicle.

Chuck, can you get a screenshot of these green blocks?

Yah, great view! Needs floors and headliners, huh? :p

Tim, the green blocks were not your problem. I posted a screen grab under your thread in the General Discussion Forum here:

I think the server hiccupped.

Whew!!! That's a relief!! Sorry about the engine file on the Yakima unit. I guess you better double-check anything coming from me. I'm under alot of stress here on the home front, and the old grey matter aint what it used to be! :p

I haven't been able to work on anything in the sim all weekend, and probably not for a couple days. I did manage to find out roster info on the Portland Traction Hollywoods, which PE units went north, and stuff. Thats about all.

Wow, not being a cable guy, but look at those 50's & 60s cars. Classics for sure, when we bought anything the big three offered! In those days I drove a '49 Chevy coupe, a couple of motorcycles, got married once or twice during the era. In the ensuing decade drove a medium sized Pontiac convertible, an really small Datsun four door, and a 55 stude at the same time as my wife drove a 56 stude back and forth to school, and a Datsun P/u which I quickly turned into a camper which I took two honeymoons in, that is before I traded it for a 61 caddy. Wonderful car that was, except that I drove a lot of northern Ariz roads in those days and Caddys transfered little road data to the driver, finding my self going sideways more often than not. My present family car is a Saturn SUV 4 cyl that carries my wifes 300 lb wheel chair to and from her work. I like it because its Chevy engineered, and suits my ladys driving habits well.
Nice cable cars guys.

George

And oh yeah, I'm an MSTS narrow gauger.
