Gents,

The speed in the eng file, would that represent the engines timetabled maximum speed of the absolute max speed for the traction motor?

In looking at tht code, MaxSpeed parameter represents the train speed at which the tractive force for all locomotives fall to "0". This effectively limits the force to accelerate the train on straight and level track.
