On the "At The Railyard" Website, we are celebrating the third anniversary of the website by holding a screenshot competition. This year's theme is "Executive Trains".

If you could afford your own private train, what would it look like? Would you use one that exists in real life? Would you use the paint schemes of real railroads, or make your own paint scheme? Would your train just have passenger cars, or would you have freight cars as well? The choices are yours!

Here's an example I created:

The winner receives a choice of prize, courtesy of BLW/ZT, RSC, or At The Railyard. To find out what you could win (along with the official rules), visit this page:

I also cover this in my latest v-log here:

I've seen some terrific screenshots here, so I hope to see your executive train. B)

This may sound stupid, but can I upload my shot to this thread and the TrainSim equivalent? I was wondering if parcipitants could upload their shots to this thread or if this was just a notice. I already have a few shots taken, but I think that someone is going to come out with a better shot some time in the future. The winner of last year's competition (Luke Iverson)'s shot was simply awe-inspiring. I also noticed that his shot used some payware add-ons while my shots all use freeware add-ons. Either way, I'm taking a stab at this and I hope I can win myself a BLW pack.

That is how I found out about the competition. If not, I wouldn't have switched my resolution from 800x600 to 1024x768. One reason why I asked that is because I'm deciding between two shots to submit to the contest. I've edited one to have a "focus" effect, but the other one is not edited.

Everything goes on Nick's site. It's not being hosted here.

This isn't my shot for the contest, by the way.

They're going in the General Screenshots thread. I still can't decide which one, but I'm leaning toward my edited shot. I have another one which I don't think I'm going to enter. I'll be posting that one as well.

Nick makes me laugh. Waiting for a shot of him with a orange wedge in his mouth making faces on the video. :pleasantry: And think he's better than Jimmy Kimmel or Conan O'Brien.

So he's making us a offer we can't refuse... The pissano wants to see Don Noisey's private train? I'll a show him my a private train GOOD like! :curiousPC:
