Extra 41 West pauses for water on a fine summer morning in 1942 with eight empty Sandy River Tom boxcars in tow, heading for the mines at Rico to support the war effort. Tom is working on colors and I think he's got some winners!

Someday soon, boys, someday soon we will be able to dump all those 2001 vintage boxcars for some real 3000's! :lol:

NICE!! Looks like the Franklin County Car Shops have been hard at work. Very, very nice work, Tom, especially the hardware. :)

The first car is finally out of the shop and in test.
Here's a couple shots of the first test run.
A couple minor tweaks and they should be "good to go!"

Yeah, yeah, yeah! :lol: a decent 3000 followed soon by a decent 1000. I'm in heaven!

I see part two of Don Kartch's C&S just hit the TS.com file library. I'll be playing with that tomorrow!
