Since we have this new forum, and since it looks like it needs jump-starting to get things rolling... thought I'd share something.

I was surprised when "At The Railyard" (aka Nick O.) asked to pre-release a review of the Ozark Northern. Frankly, I was abit trepidatious, for Nick's little ATR endeavor was growing to be a popular endeavor. Further, I knew there was a VERY small niche of V scale TOC19 railroading enthusiasts. Not exactly "main sream" if you know what I mean.
Well, once the Ozark Northern review was released, I immediately hit the link to view it. I was amazed. I was amazed at the excellent music score Nick selected, impressed with his dialouge script and his camera skills/patience to get just the right "shot". Overall, viewing his review left me feeling very proud to have persevered with the Ozark Northern to completion.
To me, this one video seems serves as an expample to emphasize the power of the video medium. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did!

Nick is simply stellar! He makes ALL routes look amazing in his reviews. And yours is certainly no slouch either Andre. ;) But Nick just knows how to get shots better than Adams or Jackson, edits better than Kubrick or Spielberg, scores it better than Ferrera or Scorcese. In Hollywood terminology, Nicks a freakin' monster! :pleasantry: I fooled with Fraps a bit for my routes, and Nick was kind enough to give me support on a few even. But I'm Ed Wood compared to his work. Just an amazing talent I greatly appreciate. :thumbup3:

For what it's worth, this video was the nail that hit home to acquire this route. I had been scoffing at it, procrastinating, shuffling my feet and, in general, just putting off buying a payware route.
After stumbling upon this vid and watching it, I contacted Andre immediately.
I am now the proud owner of the Ozark Northern RR.
That's my story and I'm stickin' to it.
Great route, Andre, and highly recommended. :pleasantry:

I've become such a staunch Canadian now. But if Andre ever wishes to tackle Yukon & White Pass or something else 'well to the north', I could be very tempted as well. :rotfl:
Something with LOTS of snow for Rick. :pleasantry:
