potential issue with articulated steam I've done some testing on donner pass Rate Topic: -----

I'm sorry if this has already been reported. I find that the rear set of drivers on the cab forwards get no traction. The symptom is that they free wheel up to a high speed and stay at high speed until the engine comes to a full stop. I've not tested any other articulated loco, so it might be unique to the donner pass equipment.

You have to edit the .eng files and add weight(Mass) to the articulated engine and copy the friction characteristics from the un-articulated engine.

I don't know whether that is the correct way but it worked for me.
