1. My HUD in v. 0.6.2 always displays speed in kph; how can I change this to mph?

2. Is it possible to change cabs as with regular MSTS with BIN?

Speed units in HUD (F4 and F5 view) are route dependent as well as in MSTS. You can change it in route editor.

You can "change" cab by flipping the locomotive. Use Ctrl+Shift+F to do so (see F1 Debug Locomotive Flip).
