This is a model of a Pullman 2 Bedroom, 1 Compartment, 1 Drawing Room, Buffet, 27-seat Lounge, Round End Observation Car, floor plan 4082. Pullman built a total of seven of these cars.

Lot 6567 ordered 10/1938 and delivered 7/1939:
NYC Genessee River, NYC Maumee River, NYC Wabash River
Assigned to the Southwestern Limited (New York - St. Louis), sold to the B&O in 1956.

Thanks. Five minutes to match the color, four hours to get the striping to match between the 3 different sections :lol:

That NYC set continues to look better and better. I just hope my budget recovers in time to pick it up at release. :lol:

I just completed Pullman Sleeper 'Cascade Elf' as a partial photo-skin and, of course, I now have to redo the striping on 'Maumee River' to match!

Thanks, they have actually been a lot of fun. There is a wealth of information I've been able to uncover on the NYC, mostly from www.canadasouthern.com.

It also helps that these cars are basically 'greyscale'. Color matching becomes fairly trivial!! :wub:
