Really impressive Paul. Even sans the RDC. :freezing: But wouldn't CN noodle logo's be a little out of place here still? It wasn't adopted till mid-late 60's wasn't it - and your route is 40's - 50's era?

No, the DAR route is set in the mid-70s... when I lived down there... hence the freshly painted CP cars with the fairly new Multi-Mark. The DAR in Kentville was involved with this as they had a paint shop. CN leafs were still around on 40 footers into the early '80s so they would still be appropriate in the mid-70s... maybe getting pretty weathered... CN noodles would be more common then leafs though. May not have been a lot of variation in motive power but there was in paint schemes.

The DAR run a number of D-10s on the line before the late '50s and dieselization, a few carried the same logo I made my avatar from, also had a couple of G-5's were lettered for the DAR although they never owned them. Turns out if something nice was assigned to the DAR they's run it through the paint shop!

Ah, now I see the modern semi, and what looks to be a VW van and a sporty black car (jaguar?) in the third pic. When I first saw it, I thought you were using Wayne's and others old vintage cars like you did on the TIR. My bad! :shock6:

So are you making the vehicles as well? They look pretty cool on closer inspection.

For the most part the cars are James Hinman's works, and the trucks and a few cars are by Ted Curphey, these are all available in the library if I'm not mistaken. I have drawn a few vehicles for the route, all static, 2 1/2 ton military trucks that can be found at Camp Aldershot, and the 40 foot trailers around the route, generic white, CP Rail, CP Transport, Smiths Transport, and Maritime-Ontario.
