SP #4128 makes a ton of smoke and steam leaving the station on a crisp autumn morning.

Everytime you post pictures of this engine, Phillip, I'm just amazed at the quality of it. Did the crew change?

Nope, it's still the same crew that I've been using for the past few months. I've got some other equipment on the shop floor at the moment. What do you guys think of this GP40X so far?

Looking good Phil.

I don't know much about gp40s, all I get to see are gp15s, gp38s (the ones that are used in snow service on Donner), sd70s, sd70m, sd70ace, ac4400s, ac4500s, sd40s and sd40-2ts.

I like the detail in the trucks so far. I'm not too familiar with the GP-40X, but I do have the SLI ATSF model, which I like very much. Yours is looking good, Phil.

This is the SP and UP version that came with HT-B trucks. The GP40Xs were the testbeds for the GP50 technology. I think next I'll build the SD40X.
