Pacific Electric Railway 64-Ton 1619-Class Freight Locomotive
PE-Llewellyn-GE "Hybrid" - with a "whiff" of Baldwin-Westinghouse.
3D MODEL AND TEXTURES ©2005 By Tim Muir

Altho patterned after the earlier 1601-Class Baldwin-Westinghouse 64-ton steeplecabs, the 1619-Class had nothing to do with Baldwin. These were built by the Llewellyn Iron Works and PE's Torrance Shops, using GE electrical equipment throughout. Truly a hybrid design and unique to Pacific Electric.
