One of the things I really like about Open Rails is pausing the game, going to camera #8, and roaming anywhere, playing with light and clouds.

Impressive bridge structure. I also note the shadow showing on the water. Does it do that in straight MSTS?

Nope. MSTS didn't have the same reflective quality in the water either.
