Back when I started route building in MSTS I made myself a list of various exotic regions I wanted to depict in 3D. I think I was a little optimistic. My old computer never liked the RE and despite numerous attempts, none of my projects got to the finish line. Although Pahusett was fun to do, the extent of rework involved and the lack of information about who made what has more or less invalidated its release. Thats a shame, but I do intend producing something for public consumption.
Woody Allen's 1971 film Bananas is one of my all time favourite comedies. Who could resist the lazy tropical shabbiness of it all?Although Central America wasn't on my orignal list of 'must-build' routes, I've since decided to take the plunge. Here then is the first few shots of work in progress. Welcome to San Marcos, a little central american republic with a cute narrow gauge railway.

I know, it's frustraing to see a few RE screenies and not have the route to play with, but please be patient. I seriously mean to elevate thisone from the ranks of vapourware. Enjoy ;)

Might be in the file library....will check. Not sure if it needs the patch...for the other K27s. No, don't think I released it for some reason that escapes me now. Maybe it was because Herb wanted drop down handrails. And I never got around to it.http://www.elvastower.com/forums/public/style_emoticons/default/sign_sorry.gif http://www.elvastower.com/forums/public/style_emoticons/default/buffalobill.png

Oh, boy, there's quite story of BazzaMania attached to that 461. It ended up first as the battered 'Amigo' for a SA route I had, then it got snowed on in the Hi-Sierras and ended up as the infamous 'Snowdog'. 461 exists, I just have to get out the ice pic and snowblower.

This is the steamer you want? And I've a battered old diesel around somewhere, too. The route looks great.

Not bad! Actually I'm not hugely fussy about what rolling gets used on the route (I doubt the Ferrocarriles De San Marcos is either :sign_thanks: ) but those two loco's certainly look the business, though a splash of colour would be better I think, however rusty or grime coated it may be.
