I tried to run in this route, but for some reason OR wont complete setting up the route, i think it does not like a texture possibly of some of the tree replacements i use, i will try again later and write down the error codes as i dont know how to save them, once i get that full error popup the screen freezes and i cant copy it.... but it will be interesting to see what is up. Nice pics.

The 454 is fine, it is the tender eng file that OR spits the dummy on. It needs to be turned into a wag file with Tender as the type, and remove the entire engine section of the file.

ah ha, ok, i will try that, i had wondered why that was an ENG file....i am sure the Captn had reasons for that, just did not know what they were. I will see what i can do, trial and error as i have not done this before.
how does this look: (and i attached a ZIP of the edited WAG in case some can check this for me, i really love this engine and would like to test OR with it...

I have to revert to a WAG for the tender of the test loco 501, however, the ((BM)) still works, but somewhat speeded, but not too bad. The WAG tender should be in the latest OR test upload....but, and I emphasis the 'but', do not substitute this WAG version of the tender for the original OR test 454 loco. This will cause problems for the sim deciding which tender is which.
(IF you make a WAG for the tender for 454, keep it in the same folder. There may be problems with consists already made up unless you edit the consist and subsitute the tender versions.)
You can tell the WAG version by fact of the WAG, but also the tender name ends with -Tdr, the addition being the 'r'.
I do not recommend using the two short bogie cabooses with ENG either, there are issues with them as well. MSTS was quick happy to accept somethings that OR isn't and this is to be expected. Any OR specific MPU or wagons I release for OR will include 'OR' in the file names.
Basically, the OR version of 454 is not longer being worked on, it is still a good model for OR. My future experimental transition work will be done on 501 - purely for logistical reasons.
More than likely I'll make no further MSTS only locos, it's not written in stone, though, so it is likely that any future Mikados will be to OR standard and wont load into MSTS.
Cheers Bazza
