Very nice shot, Herb.
Got a question; Are you sitting in another train to take that shot?
Is the camera following the engine as it goes around the loop?
I'm basically wanting to know if you are detached from the loco? If so, how?
I guess that's more then one question, huh? :bigboss:

Hi thegrindre!
With patch 1.8 you can see in view#2 or #3 the whole train from the side. With view #4 you can stay beside the track and look at the train from the locomotive till the last wagon. I tryed this with a bigboy + more than 200 cars lashup. After the train goes by, you get automatically a new view, beginning with the locomotive in front.
greetings medwed

Sorry I missed your posts for this long Rick! No, it's the trainspotter view (4) from the top of Tunnel 10, a favorite haunt of mine, both in the sim and real life. You can see trains from Woodford to the left and up to Marcel on the right and of course the entire loop.
I got really lucky on this one as I moved to the spot as the train passed on the track in the foreground and the view held for the entire loop! :sign_thanks:
