I've replaced a couple of trestles on my Canada Atlantic mainline with better-looking "kitbashed" versions using parts from Sandy River Tom's wood trestle kit and Rowie's Queensland wood trestle kit available in the file library here.
Lots of fiddly alignment work, but I'm happy with the results.

Hokey Smokes! They're gorgeous! All that fiddlin' paid off, John, very very nice! That last one is a real eye-popper. Coming from one who knows about manually placing trestles in parts, (i.e. Sumpter Valley, curving on a grade- lots of fun).
