I had an old storyteller tell me that all tales are true and some of them actually happened. One would have thought the sound of the belly sliding on the ice would have triggered some of their senses.
The late Carl Fallberg memorialized the C&S snow-bucking tale on his cartoon Fiddletown and Copperopolis Railway by having the Copperopolis Cannonball plowing through someone's outhouse. I'll have to find that and scan it. In the meantime let me just close by saying that plowing is always full of hazards.

Ironically, now I've got the CTRR running okay, I've had problems installing Silverton and SVR.
Those a great shots Herb, thanks for sharing. The smoke looks great, it's not default? Actually, everytime I see smoke issuing forth from the stack on the sim I alway think that if it was purple it's a dead ringer for Marge Simpson's hairdo.
