Hello,
here are my seasons greetings from the other side of the pond. The shot could get the title "Home for Christmas?". This class of engines - although looking beautiful - was well known for problems with the regulator, and so the engine crew couldn't be sure at all to reach their destination on time.
This time of the year also is the time to look back and forward. Some days ago I struck upon the names of Pierre Mertzeisen (Oldiedaddy) and Hibu in the loading screen of a route. Let these two and all the others who left us during the last year be well remembered.
But let me close with a positive look forward. After a longer absence Stoney, the creator of so many fine steamers, is back on the scene again, and is teasing us with previews of the things to come. And maybe the new open sim is another thing to keep old MSTS alive.
Keep on steamin'!
