Elvas Tower: Quick Fix patch for K27s 450/454*/460/461 - Elvas Tower

QUICK FIX PATCH INFORMATION FOR BAZZA'S
US 3FT NARROW GAUGE MIKADO'S CLASS K27
NUMBERS 461, 450, 460 & 454*

File ID: 21379 Name:Baldwin Mikado + tender, winterised. Version: 1.0.06.09.

Also affects K27 #454*, which was currently available from Elvas Tower site, prior to 27 Oct 2009,
if you downloaded it from there (not available yet from UKTS). 454 downloaded from 27 Oct 2009 is ver1.A
with fix applied.

Two errors crept into the locomotive (respectively) ENG file.

BZZ_SANG3_Baldwin461.eng

BZZ_USNG3_K27_450.eng

BZZ_SANG3_Baldwin461W.eng

BZZ_USNG3_K27-454b.eng (only from Elvas Tower, prior 27.10.09)

Caution:
You should only attempt this quick fix patch if you are familiar with editing an ENG with the
correct unicode text editor (Not NotePad).

In each ENG, as above edit the following two data lines to read:-

IsTenderRequired ( -1 )

MaxVelocity ( 39mph )

Save the edited file, making sure the file extension is .ENG

The above quick fix changes the original ( 1 ) to ( -1 ) thus preventing proper steam production.

The MaxVelocity speed is reduced to give better control of the locomotive max speed on the level.
