The AAPRCO (American Association of Private Railroad Car Owners, Inc) Special train being pulled by AT&SF 3751 on the lead assisted by 3 Genesis series diesel-electrics of Amtrak's. The consist was 26 classic carriages long. On these shots I took, the train was backing up getting to Old Town in San Diego.

So here are the shots. Sorry if some of them aren't too clear. I was up against the sun on some angles thus, I had to do with what I got. In any case, my biggest set of shots were of the steam locomotive. I'll only post the best shots of her here. I took 64 shots in all. But many were almost identical to each other. So the shots you see here were what I considered the better ones.

I don't have a fancy digital camera. Just a simple Creative PC-Cam 750. It's not the latest or greatest, but it works.

Thanks for the pics ED. I took a short video with the wifes little Cannon camera of it at track speed near Los Nietos. It was great to hear the whistle for the double crossing. The ground trembled when she went by.

I'm glad you liked the photos. I would have posted all, but you'd get bored with some of the repetitions. LOL

Was that yours that I saw in YouTube? The one that's posted in that runby at Los Nietos? It was great if that was yours. There were a couple of others in there that posted their videos that were a bit over 8 minutes long. :thumbup3:

Very nice pics there. I noticed a Pennsylvania and a Chesapeake and Ohio car in the consist.
