Help Topic: Registration proceedures

To be able to use all the features on this board, you need to register. Registration is free and only takes a moment to complete.

During registration, the administrator requires that you supply a valid email address. It is important that this be correct as the administration requires that you validate your registration via an email. If your e-mail does not arrive, then on the member bar at the top of the page, there will be a link that will allow you to re-send the validation e-mail. Once you have responded correctly to the email validation, an administrator will then review your registration data and if everything looks OK, your account will be fully activated and you will have full access to the forums and download files.

Verity that the email address you enter is correct. If you make a mistake and the administrator receives a notice that your registration validation email has 'Bounced' and is undeliverable, your registration application will be denied and your account deleted from the system.

Also, if your application shows that you have not responded to the validation email within 48 hours after your registration, your account will be deleted. In that case you will find that the system has no record of your user name or password if you come back to check on your registration application. You will have to fill out a new registration application.

You must respond to the validation email that will be sent to you. Anyone failing to respond to the validation email sent to your registered email address (check your Spam or Junk Email for this) will be deleted from the system in 48 hrs

Once your email has been verified, an administrator will review the data you have entered. Unless your information contains some questionable data, you application will be approved and you will have full access to the site. Do not expect this to happen immediately. This is not an automatic process. Most registrations are approved within 1 to 2 hours, but in some cases it may take longer. The administrators are not logged in 24/7 and it may take up to 24 hours before any registrations are approved.

Once you have registered and logged in, you will have access to your personal messenger and your control panel and the Download section of the system.

Newly approved registrations will be assigned to the New Hire group.

Restrictions on downloading are in place and your active participation in the forums will be rewarded with advancement to a higher level group with fewer download restrictions. Read the Help topic DOWNLOAD RESTRICTIONS so that you fully understand these restrictions.
