That looks brilliant Tim. Did you add extra track to the Inglenook route or just scenery mods?

Cheers
Damo

Thank you Wayne. I kind of get carried away in the new route editor. ;) And yeah, 56k! That sure dates this thread. :thumbup3:

Thanks, Damo, this is with major track and scenery additions, with the original track and platforms still in place. First thing I did with it in TSRE5 was doodle with the terrtex painting tools, then I began switching out the original scenery objects with some of my own and then others, including all of Chris's Civil War scenery objects. I backdated it to some nebulous point in history around the turn of the 19th Century, give or take a decade.

Algernon , the focal point of the Inglenook Puzzle. It's grown a bit since this first screen shot on the first of May.

First additions started with a run around track curving to the East.

Algernon got a history, a new station (thanks Randy) and businesses sprang up.

Things change quickly and the little route, one corner of it's four tile expanse, is constantly evolving. I'm knocking at the doors of the other three tiles, now. This is basically still just a switching layout. This is just one corner tile (southeast) of a four tile route. It has tons of potential.

Hello, Tim!
Especially like the bottom one:
Thanks for sharing!
It's very interesting to track the evolution of layout, seen on almost all test-report screenshots about Your model's progress.

So much detail, it's like a virtual model layout! :clapping:

"it's like a virtual model layout!"
Yes! That's exactly what it is, but it fits in your pocket and you don't have to clean the track.

Yeah, well, I've always been a model railroader and scratch builder at heart, ;) I prefer to call it a layout, over "route", for that reason.

An inspection trip starts over the Hope Springs Line down by the engine house, (by Rick "thegrindre").

The perky locomotive chuffs by silently.

by the old landing,

avoiding the stuck traction engine.

And out to the switch with the mainline.

In just a few minutes we enter Algernon city limits.

Rolling up to the station, the trip can take time out for refreshment.

HI Damo, I'm glad you like 'em.

Algernon today. The Inspection trip is over on the pocket track getting coal and water.

The original sidings have had their industries changed and expanded, tracks extended.

We enter the main line again.
