So did alot of other roads. PE had a version alot like SP's (no small wonder), which got me interested in the SP and AT&SF wartime crummies.

Sorry, Craig, I got side-tracked by another side-track while working on this side-track, which is the next side-track I intend to be side-tracked by.....

No, really, I will try to get to work finishing up the ends. That's all I have left to do, really. Maybe tomorrow night. :(

Just uploaded the Southern Pacific "Temporary Caboose" as they called them. These pre-date World War 2, having been built starting in 1937. They were used by SP into the 1950's. So, they're OK for the transition-era that we're so fond of.

I hope you enjoy it. It has a great brakeman's view from the roof, for those sunny California drag freights. <_<

Don't forget the CB&Q Way Car. They were on the roster till the mid-1950's. They were reputed to be rough riders, I suppose due to the coils springs.

Hey Chuck:

The cross bucks (I thick that is what they are called), it reads 'Watch out for the Cars", shouldn't the sign be rotated 90 degrees so the loco drivers can read it? <_<

The 5 key gives you a view from the roof...the sky view benches are not there....is this ok or am I supposed to get a view from one of the other windows?

Also, was the problem with smoke from a BOX-oose (I likte this word) resolved? I recall in from the neither-hinder-world that there was a problem. If it was resolved, Donner guys would like some heat in the pot-belly stove.

Craig
