Here are a few shots from the Western Pacific's Feather River Route. This was also a test of my new video
card. This is still an old system with new technology in that it's still a socket "A" motherboard at 2200 MHZ
Sempron with an HIS ATI 2600 AGP card. You be the judge but I'm very happy with it. Frame rates are also
very good. A big change from an ATI 1600 pro 256 Meg. Sorry about the pic's not being in order.

Nice F-Units, Allen. Now those are really beautiful diesel locomotives.
By the way, what are your FPS on those compared to your previous video card? And what about the more busy areas of the route, where there are tons of objects in the scenery like in a yard?

As for frames per second I'm not sure. I don't see any jerkyness but then I don't run much in yards and
city situations anyway. Obviously it's not going to be as good as the latest 4830 PCI Express card but for a
six year old PC With a 400 front side bus it's better than my Athlon 64 with a 7900 GTX Nvidia card. Why
would that be? I know other people that use Nvidia cards and get great video performance.

Hallo!
Exploring the B&O Cumberland Division
The drivers at the crossing don't know yet they're expecting a little longer break...
...because not knowing the route I reached the station with the last drop of water in my tender.
They know it now.
With the additional sip of water I've made it to the end of the line. Whereas old Granny in his twenty year old Ford is waiting patiently a young "sportsman" crosses the track just before the train gets going again.
Keep on steamin'!

Nice shots, Dietmar. I'm going to like that route too.
Looks like it's built with steamers in mind also. At least adopted for it.
I'm just running the Boston and Albany for now. I have yet to check that one out.
That was one of the three that got pulled from the file library at Train-Sim.com. It's too bad, since it looks great too. Fortunately I got all three of them before they got pulled.

Hallo!
I've also got the Boston & Albany route and like it too. When the routes appeared I downloaded them right away because I thought I didn't have enough eastern routes. It really is a pity they were withdrawn. Here's a shot from the B&A. The great number of Wayne Campbell's awsome cars doesn't harm the framerates too much, a question that was asked here some time ago.
American Classics on and beside the track
