File Name: OR CROR Signals v2
File Submitter: ebnertra000
File Submitted: 29 Mar 2023
File Category: Signals & Signs

This is a rebuild of my original CROR signal set. These use the rules from the Canadian Rail Operating Rules as they are today. This set is not compatible with my previous version of this set. Both .ace and .dds textures are available.

Hi Travis,

Love your signals.
What's the chances of getting you to make some train order signals? The ones available are starting to look a bit dated.

Thanks
Randy

Have you got a specific style(s) in mind? There are a lot out there...

How about a variety pack.

Too many choices too little time.
On the target type order boards you could make the target a flat plane to allow changing it like Jovet's switchstands.

The shape/color of the target seems to be unique to several railroads.

I redid the USLQTO that Hank Sundermeyer came out with in the beginning of this whole MSTS thing.

It came out pretty good and it can be set to stop by direction in TSRE.
It would be cool to be able to set it to stop in the dispatch window or maybe even the activity. Is that even possible?

Randy

Well, the shapes could probably be done, but Ihave no idea on how to make them function short of manually setting aspects in the dispatcher window. My biggest issue is that I loathe making semaphore spectacles, so psyching myself up to make a bunch of oddball types is going to be a challenge

That's nice Joseph.
Is this signal available anywhere? I wouldn't mind using it at a couple stations on the VSL.

Thank you!
It's not available for download, but I'm happy to share. I could upload it on here or just email it to you.
Just take note that it is NOT a drop-in replacement for Hank's TO signal. It requires its own signal coding, etc. It doesn't do much, but it will change if you link it to a turnout somewhere.

I wouldn't have any idea on how to script it but it would make a great scenery item.
I could add it to the sigcfg and sigscr if the entries were already available.
You could just zip it up and attach it to a post.

Thanks
Randy

Here's one you can use.
