After the Motor departs Rico at 7:40 AM (with the same amount of freight and mail, along with 2 people), it rolls through Burns Canyon.

... it rolls over Lower Gallagher Trestle...



... roll through the shed at Lizard Head...



... and begins rolling downhill.

The Motor passes the tank and siding at Trout Lake...



... rolls over bridge 46-D...



... and rolls through Ophir.

The Motor rolls through Fall Creek, the site of a 28 car siding, and section house.



Soon, the Motor rolls into Placerville at 9:57 AM.



The Motor soon departs Placerville at 10:05 AM as it climbs the grade to Peake.

Soon, it rolls through Peake and rolls downhill. Peake (also known a Dallas Divide is the site of a wye, 2 sidings, stock pens, and section house (with related buildings).

Soon, the Motor pulls into Ridgeway at 11:45 AM with 1 passenger and 1,000 pounds of freight and mail.
