It's a booster, just an SW-9 without a cab used for transfer duty, they were called "cow and calf" back then.

Nice nicknaming: much better, than slug, IMHO.
Thanks. (slug has traction motors with fan(s) and ballast only, but no diesel-generator, as I was told)
