Hi,

Just to say that I've tested positive for COVID and feeling pretty rough, so please don't expect any replies to messages for a few days.

Thanks

Chris,

Sorry to hear that, you're not alone though as there's a lot of it about. From the news yesterday we're about 20 miles from the worst place at the moment (Pymouth). I've not knowingly suffered myself, athough my daughter did, hopefully that will not change.

One of my old schoolmasters used to say that the best way to deal with a cold was to retire to bed with a bottle of whisky, having hung your hat up at the bottom of the bed. Drink the whisky until you can see two hats, then who cares about the cold! I don't know whether it also works for Covid, but it might be worth a try. If, like me' you can't abide whisky I'm certain that other beverages are available.

Get well soon.

After two bouts of it, I'll gladly take Covid over a bad bout of stomach flu with diarrhea and vomiting....

Rest up.

Hello.
Please, note two things:
- Any decease ends somehow.
- Some of us here worry and wish You to recover
so, as Rob have said, You are not alone.
Try to have a rest for a while.
Be well.
So to everyone else, too.

I suffered through a bout of it last month but with four rounds of vaccine it was no worse that a bad head cold.

Yes, get well soon Chris! I expect you know even after recovery, you can lack energy ( long covid) So don`t push yourself to achieve normality.
I`m sure Weter`s comment "any decease ends somehow" is real folk wisdom, but has lost something in translation! Hope so!
Rick
