I think someone just bumped an old thread ... I'm using the parameter and do not experience the problem. Perhaps it is specific to how -- and where -- the parameter is placed in the file.

AFAIK it is still a problem. See the bit about formatting on the previous page. It does not seem to mind the same data in a more tabular format. I am not using this very much now due to other changes in braking, but if it is an easy problem to solve then why not solve it.
