Hello.
1. I see such control name the first time: does it actually exist in ORTS?
(If yes, do I understand right, that player sets desired speed with some Cruise control dials and said needle indicates the value of chosen speed on the same speedometer which has a needle, showing actual current speed?)

2. What kind of help exactly do You need now?
The code, You've posted looks proper for general needles.
Is it out of working in Your *.cvf?

If so, did You increase the number of CabControls ( n by one?
Try to temporary substitute Type () of Your needle to something, which working would be guaranteed: speedometer, manometer, ammeter dial and see, is its placement looks right and does it move, as it have to.

Why I'd You write "ScalePos" and "Pivot" in bold? Is scale pos reference of angles for rotation?

At the moment ORTS_SELECTED_SPEED is available only in ORNYMG. Are you using it?

Hi.

Yes, there is such a controller. As Carlo mentioned, the NYMG version uses Cruise Control. For vehicles using cruise control ( AFB ), it shows the set speed. In Hungary, it is in TRAXX, TAURUS, VECTRON locomotives and KISS, FLIRT TALENT locomotives. A yellow triangle on the outside of the speedometer shows the set speed value. At least in these types.
The Gigant (V63) locomotives developed in the 1970s have a so-called basic speed transmitter. This is a simple potentiometer. The pointer on the shaft of the potentiometer indicates the value of the set speed.
