The work extra crew tied up at Osier at 8:40 AM. Crew from Alamosa deadheaded to Osier on the westbound San Juan to replace the crew of the extra (the crew that left Alamosa were deadheaded on the eastbound San Juan to Alamosa.) After conditioning the engine, the train leaves Osier.
Soon, the train arrives at Cumbres at 1:30 PM.
After setting out the wrecker at Cumbres and turning the flat load, the 480 departs Cumbres at 2 PM, and stops at Lobato to meet the eastbound San Juan.
Soon, the 480 pulls into Chama at 3:25 PM with 1 load, 1 empty.
