Has there been any work, or is there something pending...that has to do with migrating the OR registry entries to an OpenRails.ini file in a portable version of OR.

For example: A portable version of OR exists on a flash drive with a blank OpenRails.ini file in the folder with the exe file...is there a way to migrate all the Content and Option entries in the registry to the blank OpenRails.ini file?

NOTE: ( I know about the existing method of recreating everything in the portable version by adding all the content, and choosing all the Options again in the portable version. )

Hi Gerry,

It would be a nice feature to have, but I don't know of any work on it at present.

Thank you for the reply Chris. I suspect it would be useful, with many users having different devices and portable versions of OR.

All things in good time -- thanks for all the work the development team does...it's like an iceberg, much of what goes on is below the surface of most users awareness...for instance all the work being done to keep the manual up to date, the work being done on providing a coherent and logical development path for OR development and other items just too numerous to mention. Certainly a fine, world class train simulator for the community. http://www.elvastower.com/forums/public/style_emoticons/default/hi.gif
